Sexism
Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.
What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

You're confusing equality with sameness.
Also, the idea that male and female brains are radically different is false. There might be a few minor differences, but even that's controversial. And you're utterly ignoring the possibility that a straight male/ female distinction covers everything; it doesn't. There're all kinds of intersex permutations, and comparatively few people are likely to be "wholly" male or female (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean - there's nothing male or female about a chromosome, for example).

Sorry, but that's just not true. They are [in general, natch]different. There's little controversy in the scientific community, but there is controversy over how to interpret the results, and obviously when a tabloid gets hold of them.
The wiki 'sex and intelligence' and 'biology of gender' pages are a good start for collections of research, the articles are bit average.
Edit: That was not meant to be anywhere near as patronising as it sounded, I'm starting to sound like my Dad ffs.

And the difference between science and the interpretation of results is what, exactly?
Inasmuch, that is, as the latter presupposes the former...
What neurological differences there are are small; and, within a machine as complex as the brain, exactly what they mean is something about which we're sketchy at best...
The confusion of sameness and equality is still there, however you answer the neurological question, of course; Neanderthal brains were much more different from h. sapiens brains than female human brains are from male, yet that tells us nothing about what their comparative moral or social status would've been had both species of human survived.

stop being a science twat
men and womens brains are near identical lumps of kit
its a software issue
we all know that
you try de-installing the handbag hormone, or distrupting the electrical signals to the shoe synapt

If
they are nearly identical, why does a female brain (of nearly all species) weigh one third less than a male brain?
