Learning remotes are a double edged sword
If they aren't set up well, they are more of a hindrance than a help. Chez Hatred, you essentially push "Watch Film", "Watch TV", "Play Playstation" or "Play Wii." The remote will switch inputs to the right place, adjust volume and (where appropriate) bring up the buttons required to control Blu-Ray or $ky. It works brilliantly but it took a fair amount of dicking about with the Pronto to get it just so.

We do however have one remote to control the whole lot and it works perfectly.

Logitech Harmony
Not quite as straightforward to set up as the name might suggest, but much much simpler than most of the fancy remotes.

Oh, and there's a 'help' button which usually sorts you out when things don't quite go to plan...
