This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

The gender colour and placement of household appliances
If its white, its a machine girlies have no problem using, after all they grew up watching their mums using them
ie/ washing machine, cooker, fridges and generally anything usually located in the kitchen
If its black and in the living room its a man thing, like stereos etc.

at some point manufacturers realised this and started producing household electrical goods in non gender specific colours like silver and grey.
Hasnt worked,if its silver, computerised and in the kitchen its still a womans machine.
Silver, computerised and in the living room, its still a mans machine.

Well its a sexism theory as good as any other ;)

I think this is why a lot of men hate the Wii but women like it.
It might be in the living room and attached to the tv but it's white.

Yeah we've got a black one
The missus plays it from bed while I get on with some work

There are people (presumably men, from what you seem to be saying) who cannot work a fridge?!
Fuck me.

Washing machines are a headfuck.
Ideally they should have a big red button where the confusing alphabetical knob goes that says "JUST MAKE IT CLEAN".

I agree
Washing machines confuse me

For the first time...
I've not put a big black mark on the dial setting for normal wash on my machine.

I'm either evolving, or learning about the damn things...

Our kitchen appliances are black.
And the component thing is just a fashion thing. It was black for a while then silver and seems to be black again at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see the wood effect coming back before too long.
