I've heard it explained thusly.After child birth you may sometimes hear 'never again' but a while down the line you may hear the phrase 'I think I'd like another one!'
On the other hand, ask any bloke who has ever been kicked in the nuts whether he'd like to be kicked in the nuts again...

Good way of putting it. I guess with childbirth it's all made better by the joys of parenting (if you like kids). Nothing good comes from a bollock-kicking.
