So, a technocracy, then?By automation, I assumed that you meant an end to labour which, whilst a noble idea in theory, would probably lead to widespread civil unrest.

not quiteAn end to labour that can be automated. People would be educated in more "noble" sciences. Any kind of a transition to it (were it ever to happen) would have to be well planned out and guided by the scientific method. I don't think that the Venus project is the organisation to deliver this.
