Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

Yes.Yes they are.
Personally, I find it extremely satisfying to "reject" people: we never got on at school, why the hell do they want to get in contact now? Oh yeah, to boost their friend numbers and try and look popular.
