Social Networking Gaffes
Freddy Woo writes, "My school bully just friended me on Facebook!" No doubt he pokes him, and then demands his lunch money.
Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.
What's the biggest mistake you've made using a social networking site?

In my defence
Not much of a defence but still...
I initially liked them enough to add them in the first place, just (naively) wasn't expecting the ensuing bombardment. And I haven't led anyone on, I've made it quite clear that I'm not interested in them in THAT way. I just get the feeling they're only hearing what they want to hear.
I know being direct will be better for all concerned. I just hate doing it... being direct with needy people is like kicking kittens.
And er... whut?
