Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

It sounds like she just wanted to be mean to someone, anyone.You tell anyone that they're ugly (especially if you do it out of the blue) and it will hurt them in quite a deep psychological way.
