Way to miss the pointFive seasons after The Wire began, nothing had changed. Many of the characters had died or gone to prison (or become teachers), but others had come along to take their places. Which was kind of the point that David Simon was trying to make all along.

Grantedbut you still invest in characters and story and it's nice to actually be surprised when they get 'capped' on screen rather than some lame ass telling you about it.
The same point could be made about any spoiler really it doesn't really matter it's only a film/book/tv program, get over it
