This is a question Spoilt Brats

Mr Newton sighs, "ever known anyone so spoilt you would love to strangle? I lived with a Paris Hilton-a-like who complained about everything, stomped her feet and whinged till she got her way. There was a happy ending though: she had to drop out of uni due to becoming pregnant after a one night stand..."

Who's the spoiltest person you've met? Has karma come to bite them yet? Or did you in fact end up strangling them? Uncle B3ta (and the serious crimes squad) wants to know.

My attempt to act spoilt:
"Mum, I want that." *points to some toy or other*

"That's how you ask for things now is it?"

"Ok, can I have that then?"

"I still didn't hear a please."

*tuts* "Please can I have that?"

"Yes, you can have it for your birthday."

"Buuuuut, that's not for aaaages, I want it now."

"Well, Christmas is before your birthday, you can wait till then."

"Only just. I don't want to wait."

"Then buy it yourself."

"Pffft, I can't afford it."

"Then you'll have to wait."

"I don't want to wait. Buy it for me. Now."

"Talk to me like that again and you'll get nothing but a slap."

*talks to her like that again*

*gets nothing but a slap*

*doesn't talk to her like that again*

The same worked for my brothers, too.
Not a spoilt one among us.

Now give me clicks. I demand to have some clicks.

*clicks*
my parents were the same.

makes me appreciate my lovely stuff like my guitars and surfboard

however it has also led to me not wanting to spend money on holidays because it seems like a waste in comparison...

They are.
Why spend what some might consider a small fortune on two weeks of doing nothing useful at all, when you can use that money to buy something that'll last months, if not years?

no-slaps
Did anyone see that money programme where parents were bitching about how expensive it was being a parent? Whenever their demon hellspwan (I won't call them children because they were seriously bratty and children is reserved for those who behave themselves) wanted a toy or other item, they would get it immediately. What's wrong with making them wait for their birthday or christmas? My mum did that with me and my brother, and we turned out fine.

If I ever have kids, I'm going to seem like the mother from hell.
