Where is the strangest place you have slept?'lardaholics anonymous' was bored and started a new question over in the old question, so the least we can do is make it official. What with New Year's celebrations coming up, asking for the strangest place you have slept is nicely appropriate too.
In case you are wondering, Portsmouth beach in the fog. Very strange waking up to that.

well....In a concrete bus shelter in Bramley, Surrey on the way home to Guildford from a pub in Godalming (or Cranleigh - can't remember exactly).
But most recently the top of my stairs not 5 or 6 steps away from my own comfy bed after a few too many sherberts.
Oh, I did wake up on the beach in Brighton once and have no idea how i got there as that night I had been at a barbecue in Guildford.
