Where is the strangest place you have slept?'lardaholics anonymous' was bored and started a new question over in the old question, so the least we can do is make it official. What with New Year's celebrations coming up, asking for the strangest place you have slept is nicely appropriate too.
In case you are wondering, Portsmouth beach in the fog. Very strange waking up to that.

Strangest......Once, some years ago, I'd gone without sleep for approximately 4 and ahalf days, I was a friend's house playing a playstation game with him, wrestling game as it was. At some point I fell asleep, mid game, controller in hand and my eyes wide open. I awoke several minutes later to find that his mother had been in and even spoken to me, asked if i was ok and then left. Better still, the game was still on and I beat my friend anyways.
