Where is the strangest place you have slept?'lardaholics anonymous' was bored and started a new question over in the old question, so the least we can do is make it official. What with New Year's celebrations coming up, asking for the strangest place you have slept is nicely appropriate too.
In case you are wondering, Portsmouth beach in the fog. Very strange waking up to that.

Well.......after a particularly messy night out, I jumped in to a cab and was dropped at the end of my drive. I waved to my fellow passengers and watched them drive off to their own beds. The next thing I remember is being prodded awake.
By the tyre of my stepdads van.
I'd fallen asleep behind his car, under the backwheel.
Thank god he got out to see what the issue was and didn't just drive on over!
He never told my mum.
