In case you are wondering, Portsmouth beach in the fog. Very strange waking up to that.

escort agencyI've just remembered that I once slept on the couch in an escort agency. We were visiting my girlfriend's friend and I sat up til some strange a.m. discussing the industrial hazards of prostitution. (The friend had progressed from being a streetwalker, and felt comparatively safe as it stood to reason that if you were going to assault a prostitute you wouldn't call her workplace and give them your credit card number first.) Not being on speed, I conked out and woke up at someone else's house. No, I don't know how I got there either.
