Strict ParentsI always thought my parents were quite strict, but I can't think of anything they actually banned me from doing, whereas a good friend was under no circumstances allowed to watch ITV because of the adverts.
This week's Time Out mentions some poor sod who was banned from sitting in the aisle seats at cinemas because, according to their mother, "drug dealers patrol the aisles, injecting people in the arm."
What were you banned from doing as a kid by loopy parents?

I would like to saythat my folks beat me regulary with an iron bar, wouldn't let me leave the house and that I was even home tutored. I only made my escape out of an opened window at the age of 16 and made free into the world.
But in reality I had the most lenient and ace parents on the planet! my brothers and I could do pretty much what we wanted when we wanted to!!!! Brilliant
strangely though, i'm rather strict with my son hmmmmmmmm
