Strict ParentsI always thought my parents were quite strict, but I can't think of anything they actually banned me from doing, whereas a good friend was under no circumstances allowed to watch ITV because of the adverts.
This week's Time Out mentions some poor sod who was banned from sitting in the aisle seats at cinemas because, according to their mother, "drug dealers patrol the aisles, injecting people in the arm."
What were you banned from doing as a kid by loopy parents?

fierce mum?when I were a nipper my mum was one of the fiercest on the street. One time she head my brother, who was grounded for some misdemeanour (probably blowing his nose on the kitchen curtains again) getting his bike out. She leaned out of the front bedroom window and shouted 'Where the hell do you think you are going with that bike? Get back in here immmediately'. It was the plumber arriving by bike to do some job. He commented later that he thought he was back at home.
