twas a girl here
I once watched her copy and paste individual cells from Excel to word because she didn't know how to select a range of cells and paste them.
How the fuck these people get a job in an office I never know. I showed her how to copy some cells and press paste. She couldn't believe it!

I caught my mother
filling in stuff in Excel, then getting a calculator out, adding them all up and typing the total underneath.

well dick nose,
you don't hire a person for a job that for the most part needs Excel if they can't use a fucking computer. (HR berks)
Also, I'd consider being able to copy and paste entry level stuff. This wasn't a case of poor old Dorris trying to use a computer when they first came in the 80s. It was a person in their mid 20s only last year.

Not their fault though, is it?
You employ someone who doesn't have the skills for a job, you're a fucking moron. You give your abuse to the employee not the employer, you're a fucking arsehole.

Touche
Actually, I am more than a little embarrassed that I actually got annoyed at being called 'dick nose' on the internet.
If that was any sort of 'battle' I well and truly lost. Still, probably for the best, I am scared of heights and that was one big fucking horse I was on.

I went on an excel course in 1992
took a whole day if I remember. I don't think microsoft bother doing them now though.
Mind you in those days cut and paste usually involved scissors, prit stick and a photocopier (that isn't a joke BTW)
