Stupid Colleagues
Godwin's Lawyer tells us: "I once worked with a lad who believed 'Frankenstein' was based on a true story, and that the book was written by Shirley Bassey." Tell us about your workplace dopes.

Are you one of those people whose catchphrase is
"It's not my fault", followed by "insert vague reason why it's someone else's fault". Just about every moronic new "safety" rule in the workplace I've had the misfortune to see introduced, has been because some fuckwit has done something really stupid, with obviously forseeable consequences, and then spouted.."it's not my fault, I've never had any training on how to open a door safely" ( or other such simple tasks)

Seriously
Safety talks we had had at the company I work for have included issues with doors, and people getting hit by them as someone opens it from the other side. Even to the point where managment put windows in some doors so you see if someone was approaching, and most the doors have warnings on them "caution door may open" .
Also warnings not to flip the dumpster lid up and try to empty the smaller bin in it before the lid fell down again.
Another safety email was regarding "correct use of scissors"
They put "caution trip hazard" signs on 18" round yellow and black flexible aircon ducts that run across the floor.
Unbelievably this company builds aeroplanes.
