When the red bar for Olympic record times was introduced for the swimming, a lovely friend of mine exclaimed, "You would think they would hit their heads on that bar. A bit dangerous don't you think?". To which I could only agree.
Her world was infectious and you always came away just a little bit dimmer, but somehow happier for it.

Interesting last comment, and I agree with the concept. I worked with a girl once who was as dumb as a box of hammers. We never took the piss out of her because she was such a joy to be with. One of life's lovely and lucky people who will always be happy and always bring happiness. Bless her.

(to me anyway) the qotw title of stoopid colleagues sounds a bit negative, but there is the good/fun/innocent side to stupid too (as opposed to 'I am all-powerful and all-knowing; my colleague is dumb)

I had a colleague like this. Dappy, easily confused, occasionally unintentionally frank but always lovely to be around, usually happy and thoroughly well-meaning. Bless her.
