I was fooled.
The student one mentioned in the OP is a gem though, assuming that isn't a fake as well. I haven't clicked the link but I assume it's the curly-headed guy that doesn't know about circuits or something.

I think the question is why do people buy a surge protector to protect their house and the dumb ass says that they use it as a defence against water....the more I watch it the more he looks like Jim Carey from dumber and dumber, you can almost see his chipped front tooth.....
