Had an IT Director who did that..Did the whole walking off thing. Once you got to the point he needed to know... Or if you were rambling too much, he'd just walk off.
He was an older guy, and as such everyone seemed to respect/fear him. Even my boss was like "Well you have to get to the point when talking to Paul, he doesnt have time!" Like that is an excuse for just being simply rude!
