Tactless
As grandmasterfluffles puts it, "My ex once told me, "That's the best sex I've ever had... Well, apart from with my cousin..."
What's the most tactless thing you've heard? And was it you saying it?

Am I too late?
This is just like my ex-wife's model for arguing.
1. Take offence at something you have fundamentally misunderstood.
2. Get very angry
3. It doesn't matter that the whole argument is invalid (because you based it on a faulty premise) I'm ANGRY so I will continue for as long as I'm enjoying it.
stage 4 should be where you flounce off and don't talk about it, so carry on.
I know the Prof rather well so I'm going to say you'd be wrong even IF you were right. Which you aren't.

There's the alternative version,
which involves getting upset on behalf of others who might possibly have misunderstood and been upset by the OP had they seen it, but who didn't actually see it and were thereby deprived of the opportunity to misunderstand and be upset by it in their own right.

yes. you're far too late.
furthermore, you have fundamentally misunderstood everything.
I think you should just skip straight to 'stage four' and flounce the fuck off.

as the Prof has made an appeal for understanding in the original thread
backed up by multiple apologies based on whatever it is you're cross about and a clarification of the facts- which you have accepted- you have no basis on which to carry on being affronted and aggrieved. So why are you, unless it's attention seeking beakering?

"whatever it is you're cross about"
look love, if you don't get it, just say so.
