ha, very gooda mate and I proposed a hand-cranked machine comprising of a beam with four pegs on it set an octave apart for the purpose of playing Chopin's Etude Op.25 No.10. It would have a cam to jig it up and down and a track to guide it side to side.
We then went to dream up a machine for each of the other 23 etudes. Such inventiveness is only possible after much alcohol.
