Card-countingI went through a phase of playing a lot of Patience (or Solitaire for the non-Brits) - to the extent that I got a bit obsessed and learned about twenty different varieties. My favourite was a two-pack version that was a bit like the one that came with Windows XP called Spider Solitaire.
It starts with a 55-card layout, and I played it so often that I could reliably pick 55 cards off the 104-card deck.
