Because I'm worth it.
My earliest recollection of advertising on TV was around 1973-1974. I think we'd just got colour, and I vividly remmember those blonde-hair-tossing girls promoting various shampoos, in summer dresses, bathed in sunlight, with trees and cherry blossom.
As far as I can remember it was while watching said adverts that little BPA popped out the open slit in my pyjamas and had a nose around. I must have been around 7.
