Angel was way hotterAlthough he couldn't do an Irish accent any better than Spike could do an English one. Why do Americans think we all talk like either Sid Vicious or the Queen (here represented by Giles and Wesley)?
Also, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was and is stunningly good TV, even if the lead actress was a bit crap. Although you get points for having the nerve to diss The Whedon on a geek forum

I concede the accents point,but I didn't find Angel (or the actor who played him) physically attractive - too "pretty", too good-boy. Even when he was being evil, you could still have introduced him to your mother.
