Terrible ParentingMy parents used to lock my brother, sister and I in the car while they went to the pub for a "quick one" after work. This quick one might last several hours, during which they would send bottles of Indian Tonic Water to us by way of refreshment.
On one particularly cold evening, bored stupid, we lit a small bonfire on the back seat of the car using the cigarette lighter and the contents of the glove box. We owe our lives to passing winos. (BTW: Please no more Maddie or Jesus gags, they've been done.)

Not so much bad parenting at the moment...But a girl I work with has recently announced that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend of about six weeks. She told him she was on the pill and he had no intention of starting a family as he is only in his early 20's. Her family are said to be very excited about the pregnancy (apparently) because his family are quite well off and hers dont have that much money. So its not really bad parenting now but having a child just as an attempt to keep your rich boyfriend is a pretty terrible idea.
