This is a question Terrified!

Bathory asks: What was the most scared you've ever been? How brown were your pants?

Ballsacks
Going for a regular check up, nurse points out a lump that wasn't there last time.

Que four months of pant shitting horrible terror of "Do I have cancer?", oh btw did I mention the lump was found on one of my beloved testes?

For me, can't get more scared than the idea that something growing on/in you is going to kill you for no more reason than it can.

And do you?

Yup, quick surgery and two months of recovery.

3 years later and still gotta do check ups every six months, the terror doesn't go away just because it was cut out.

Eep.
I have a rummage with my nuts from time to time and tbh I wouldn't be able to tell if there was a lump there. They are pretty bumpy as it is.

Bump
Well, get 'em checked out. Or you may loose more than a bump or two but the whole thing.

Thankfully, my consultant was insistent you don't need to cut the whole thing off, just a little bit.

On the bright side, it's a novel way to loose weight.

Have a hastily written limerick for your balls

I hear that the men of Devizes,
Have balls of two different sizes,
While the right one is round,
And weighs more than a pound,
The left won't win any prizes.

it's horrible
discovered a lump when i was about 15 or 16, just after my Dad recovering from a tumour in his windpipe. It's one of the worst moments of my life, so scared I threw up. Got it sorted but still it's not nice. Glad you were able to catch it and fix it :)

I know it's a bit weird to "like" this
But if it appears near the top of the popular posts, that can only be a good thing.

If going for regular check ups means that I get to have my balls fondled by nurses....
What have I been missing?!?!?!?
(, Mon 9 Apr 2012, 18:07, closed)
Err
Well:

- It was a male nurse taking the check, they tend to have more experience.
- Getting groped by someone who just told you that "small lump" may be cancer is a defo turn off

On the bright side, if you really, really want to have your nuts fondled by lots of people wearing plastic gloves and nervous expressions on their faces, then say you've found a lump to your doctor and then have about 20 people (nurses, doctors, consultants, freaking trainee nurses) feel them up over the next few weeks...

Be my guest.
