This is a question Thrown away: The stuff you loved and lost.

Smash Wogan writes, "we all love our Mums, but we all know that Mums can be cunts, throwing out our carefully hoarded crap that we know is going to be worth millions some day."

What priceless junk have you lost because someone just threw it out?

Zero points for "all my porn". Unless it was particularly good porn...

Baby clothes, childhood photos and toys
The previously mentioned (see: Blood) Dad's new wife decided that she'd do a spring clean just before we moved, and just so happened to be at a time when both myself and my dad were out.

In the loft was a big pile of bags, containing:

- My first babyclothes
- My first teeth
- My first toy
- My first photo
- All my childhood photos, including those featuring my long lost Great-grandparents (both sets, one of which I don't remember)
- All my school photos
- My first Birthday party photos, hat etc.
- My prized collection of "Wonderful World Of Disney" books, worth £150 each, a set of 30.

Suffice to say, I moved out shortly afterwards.

I'm still trying to find photos of me pre-16, at the moment, I have 3.

childhood photos
dont worry about photos mate, i have around 4 pictures of my youth, and it seems im not a favorite in the family as a recent dvd of family photos didnt feature me once (crushing my soul) and i came to realise, the photos dont contain the memories, you remember whats been important to you, not somthing that some one else tells you is important.

as for baby teeth, did you plan to use em again?

Well its not just me that cares about
the photos, baby teeth etc, its my mum, she wanted them, one of the reasons they were chucked. Its more of a personal vendetta rather than just the sentimental side of things.

The books were yellow hardbacks, about A4 size by 200ish pages each. They were about £20 a book back in the late 80s.
