we have two Macs because Logic Studio is about a tenth of the cost of Pro Tools on the PCso yes, for music it is worth it, but I do all my 'real world' work on PC. Every time I try to do anything on a Mac I get lost and I don't have all the keyboard shortcuts to hand.

TryArdour. I struggled for years with Cubase et al... then pro-tools, and I was nearly at the point of giving up when I discovered Ardour.
