A few years ago I tried to trolla US-based forum for supporters of the Republican Party. I did a kind of exaggerated satire of a paranoid right-winger, and started going on about how Barack Obama was secretly born in Kenya and a Muslim.
To their credit, they had quite a good sense of humour about it. Some people even pretended to agree with me!
