Daily Record - Letters PageA surefire way to enrage my fellow countrymen is to write to the Daily Record claiming to be a teacher. Tell them that you've taught both in Scottish schools and English schools. Then tell them that you think the English education system is much better. To receive extra spleen/bile/incomprehension in the responses, also tell them that, on the whole, you believe the English are friendlier than the Scots (belief in Caledonia's innate friendliness is ingrained in the national DNA).

Fortunately there's not too many 'friendly' Scottish people in Edinburgh unlike Glasgow or I'd probably have been stabbed by now.
