Perhaps the anonymous Pigeon Troll IS here!
My favorite pigeon is the New Zealand Pigeon. When I arrived in Auckland and toured the museum there, I read about this 'noble' bird in an exhibit. It's the world's largest pigeon! But when I saw it in its natural forest habitat, it was clear the bird was far too large to fit in the forest canopy. It doesn't fly so much as it blunders through the branches. There is no bird anywhere as absurd as the New Zealand Pigeon, which is why we must keep the Pigeon Troll from ever going there, because we must preserve and protect absurdity in the natural world.
