I got in to an argument about that film......the other person accused me of 'not understanding' the film, then accused me of being a Jean Claude Van Damme fan. Which I am, but that's besides the point.
So I accused them of not understanding the subtle nuances and sub text of classics like Bloodsport and Kickboxer. Not forgetting the all time classic, Street Fighter.
They raged. I laughed.
