I tend to point out that the team peoples support is based usually on chance or whim. Many I know haven't even been to the home ground of the teams they "support".

So when they lose a soccerball match to an opposing team, I suddenly support that one, just long enough to tell them "we clobbered you last night".

I have been known to change my support three of four times a week, despite not ever having watched a whole game in my life.

I love how angry they get over it. It's not a big thing but people go mental over it.
