You can't even say they have a good reason, becuase they're the idiots that paid a load of dodgy charges in the first place. It's not that hard to read a credit agreement.

We got our PPI back, but we did it ourselves because it's a piece of piss.
It's more difficult to read a credit agreement when it's being read out down the 'phone to you when you're desperate for the cash because you've got yourself into a right hole.

it's also the fault of the banks & other lenders who made this ridiculous scam in the first place. I know the calls from these PPI reclaim companies are annoying, but still can't understand why they are more deserving of blame than the banks!

Annoy me a lot more than these guys for selling payment protection, which in effect didn't protect you from anything, as I found out in 2009 when i was made redundant. When I took out the PPI I trusted my bank (i know, what am I like)It was only a few years later when I realised what a scamming bunch of arse holes they were/are. Vag's right though, it's easy to get your money back, you just compalin to your bank and also get the financial ombudsman involved by logging a camplaint with them. These law companies make between 50-60% commission, based on the 5.5k i know i'm owed these companies promise me 2k!In regards to reading the small print, it is a good point but took out my loans before the banking scandal, so foolishly trusted these scum bags....Never again!

Banks and PPI reclaim companies are both twats in this case.

Banks for selling it to you, PPI reclaim companies for trying to rip you off and steal your money in extortionate commision charges.
