Same here.Although I have been offered 4 weeks full time temp work in August (aptly in a job centre plus, a mere 10 minutes stroll from my house) covering for people on holiday. Unfortunately I have booked a little jaunt to the Edinburgh festival in the middle of it and paid a bit towards it all ready.
I will not take the job if it means fucking my holiday off. I'm off to Edinburgh (from Liverpool) for a 5 year degree course. I need a party summer with my mates before I leave.
Although if it's silly money it would be hard to turn down; having a fair chunk of savings while being a student would be a godsend.
