Deja Vu
I know the feeling of Deja Vu has been explained scientifically. For those not in the loop. Its when youre doing something, and then suddenly feel like you've been doing this before. Its to do with information going between left and right hand side of the brain having a slight delay.
Despite the "proof" I still feel theres something perhaps more sinister going on.
As once, I was walking down a road, and suddenly got the old deja vu feeling. At the same time i imagined a number 007 bus coming around the corner. I found the thought rather amusing. James Bond Bus :)
I think i turned a shade of white when 10 seconds later a bus came around the corner with 007 on the front.
So is the deja vu feeling just about a slight brain malfunction or are we tapping into things unknown?

I thought.......
......it was to do with having different levels of memory. The "newer" the memory the "higher" the level. Sometimes the memory goes into the wrong level and this makes you think you remember it from longer ago than just now. (Does that sentence make sense??)

....

Scarily similar - this morning I was stood at my bus stop waiting for the 55 to take me to Old Street when....
....ONLY A FUCKING 55 BUS TURNED UP!!!!!!!!
*cue Twilight Zone music*

I get that all the time...
I haven't heard the brain malfunction theory before; I suppose it's possible. But I can tell you that I have made weird predictions in front of witnesses when I am delirious with fatigue and rambling; and they will come true months or years later. The predictions are weird because they usually only affect me or people I know, and usually have something to do with jobs or experiences that are completely mundane. I've had friends come back to me and say, "You know, you were spot on when you said 'the two of you will be moving to Oregon soon and you will have children together' or 'I will be driving the bus after a while'..." I don't even remember them very often until someone else points it out. So, I have no idea what's going on. It's a shame I can't get the winning lottery numbers though...
