This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

Film making
After discovering HDR photography a little while ago, I decided that once I'd started to get the hang of it that static photographs were 'so last century', so broke the infra-red remote control apart for my camera, shorted the shutter switch into a USB relay then wrote a bash script for my daughter's laptop (it's the only one I have access to with a decentish battery) to set it off every three seconds.

I started making a stop-motion film that was to be titled:

"The Landmarks of the Romney Marshes (that are close to pubs)"

I had the music in my head - that for some reason, once I sat in my studio I could never manage to get down properly...and so I set about making the film.

Got this far: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oABlGZx7kk

Length?...all 37 seconds of it!

That's really quite effective
nice moody clouds

Thanks
I really should get out and get the rest done - I only intended it to be about 15 minutes long, but it takes so bloody long to get about 30 seconds (I was there for an hour and a half - but as the title suggest, luckily there was a pub about 10 yards behind me!)

The
funny thing was, that those blokes that walk in and out of the church were there (I think) to service the organ (ooh err misses).

All we could hear coming out of the church was rock-and-roll type boogie-woogie and of course, a Whiter Shade of Pale.

That

I will
try to...it's just a real pain in the arse to do. The light has to be right or it just comes out shite once I apply the HDR magic to it.
I went out to do some more the other day at a proper little country pub, but the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

When I got home and uploaded all the pics, all you could see were a few plants occasionally shimmering as there was nothing to show movement.

Plus, I can't seem to get the music right - I think it has to be a bit moody, but everything is coming out far too bright and nice!
