This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

Why is the final mission on Fall out 3 ALWAYS fucking bugged, so i CANNOT complete the mission to play the add on.

My ps3
got the yellow light of death a few months ago, and despite getting it repaired twice it kept breaking, so I got a shiny new slimline ps3 and everything looked rosy.

However, I now can no longer play fallout at all for more than about 5 minutes at a time without it freezing, resulting in me having to switch the ps3 off at the plug. I'm also having the same problem with COD MW2, each and every time I try to play online it either freezes in the lobby or at the end of the first game :( Deleting game data and save games makes no difference. Two of my favourite games of all time and I cannot play them. If I didn't love my ps3 in such a strong emotional way, I would boycott sony for everything I was worth.

*edit* First half of my reply disappeared for some reason, making my reply seem random and unrelated

The PS3 recovery mode might help.
1. Turn off PS3.

2. Hold The power button down - the system will turn on and turn off once again.

3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps

4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.

5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button

6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

7. Select "restore file system" - it checks for corrupt/missing system files. (once completed, "rebuild database" as well)

Exactly!
Operation: Anchorage bugged on me, I'm stuck watching the general guy kill the soldier and then it's a never ending mexican standoff while the rest of the soldier kill each other.

Gosh.
If only there was some kind of PC version where the fixes were near-instantly available, when they bugged at all.

*smugs*

are you serious?
PC Fallout 3 has to be the buggiest pile of crap I've ever owned.

Edit: The orginal was tolerable overall; but then came Op Anchorage, where there must have been a translation error: They wanted those levels to LOOK freezing, not to KEEP freezing.

Ah I see the problem.
I never actually got the expansions.Just the original game, but I didn't ever see any bugs there. Except for the one where I kept getting killed by super-mutants, but apparently there isn't a patch for that.

*de-smugs somewhat*.
