This is a question Useless Information

Facts
Many of the amazing facts that people recall are, in fact, wrong or mis-remembered.

For example, the things at the end of shoe (or other) laces are called "aglets" or, very occasionally, "aiglets".

Additionally, a goiter is a swelling of the neck caused by iodine deficiency and not just a very large boil. Before iodine was introduced as a food supplement in some basic foodstuffs (mainly salt), the natural diet in parts of the UK was deficient in iodine. Derbyshire, mainly because of the underlying geology of the area, was one of these places. Goiter is sometimes known as "Derbyshire neck".
