I got a load of chalk, felt-tip markers and paint from friends one Christmas in a thinly-veiled attempt to get me involved with their plan to vandalise the toilets at the local park. My downfall: Signing my name. Tell us your stories of anti-social behaviour.
Thanks to Bamboo Steamer for the suggestion

someone daubed "Cornish lads are fishermen and Cornish lads are miners too. But when the fish and tin are gone, what are the Cornish boys to do?" on the wall outside.
The town I live in used to be one of the richest tin mining areas in the world. Now the place is full of people who left school at 16 expecting a job for live and now have bugger all to fall back on.
Its the only bit of graffiti that's stayed with me forever

It's a huge part of our heritage and we're insanely proud of it. Tin and fish. I wish I'd lived in those days. A hard hard life, but a life to be proud of. I love listening to stories from my elder relatives.
Edit: A lot of the Crofty boys moved to Ontario, to a town called Timmins (where Shania Twain came from incedentally), to work in the Gold Mine, including my uncle and his family. Which has meant a nice few summers in Canada for me yippee!

Problem is, the firms who run call centres and other office-based operations don't want to hire people with obvious accents and dialects.
