NoIt needs to have five stressed syllables per line. You might lose an unstressed syllable at the start for emphasis, which would give it nine syllables but still five stresses.

Iambic Pentameter,is 10 or 9 syllables per line, with the accent on every 2nd syllable. There have to be 5 'stresses', hence Pentameter
