But no one can deny that he's fucking light years ahead of Bush, and that America would be way worse if McCain had won instead.

That being said, he hasn't turned out to be as great as everyone hoped, but I think that's because he's limited by how much an American president can do, despite all of his initial idealism. It's not so much him that's at massive fault, but the system (man).

The biggest problem was that he was put up on some holy high pedestal before he even got in. The only way from such a place is down.

Now we just have to hope that Palin never gets in. She makes Bush look like a genius.
