I was fighting in Iraq in 2007
The only scar I came back with was from tripping on a wire and falling on my tent-pole.

My only injury from Afghanistan was getting a splinter the size of a toothpick right through my finger whilst unloading planks of wood from the back of a truck.
One of the blokes had to be casevaced to the UK after he broke his arm wrestling with an interpreter.
The Yanks would have given a Purple Heart for either of those.
