This is a question Waste of money

I once paid a small fortune to a solicitor in a legal case. She got lost on the way to court, turned up late with the wrong papers and started an argument with the judge, who told her to "shut up, for the love of God". A stunning investment.

Thanks to golddust for the suggestion

Tiny PCs
hey.... the EsCom PC story made me realise I pissed a fortune away on a "special deal" with a Tiny PC.... who then got bought out by TIME (remember Leonard Nimoy's shitty adverts about "time machines"??)

that PC was fucking useless, and was supposed to be top of the range at the time yet lagged like hell running fucking Civilisation 3 (how do you manage to LAG on a standalone machine??)

anyway... the girl who sold it to me had cracking norks! probably why I went in there in the first place....

oh....
and it came with Windows ME!!! probably the cause of the lag....

I used to work at Tiny...
...and I left mainly because I was fed up about the level of 'creativity' that was insisted upon by upper management. Oh, and automatically getting the sack if you didn't sell at least 50% onsite 24hr warranties (when the warranty was contracted out to a 3rd party that only had 2 engineers for the entire country).

Overpriced shiteboxes, but the female staff had cracking norks, and used to fax round photocopies of them at Christmas!

My first day at university one of my lecturers said
"Does anyone here own a time machine?" After he explained he meant a Time computer and not a machine to travel through time a few people proudly put their hands up. He pissed right on their chips by saying "You shouldn't be on this course then"
