I think it's just a bit of a different culture.
Calling someone a 'lying autism cunt' as a /talker means about as much as saying 'hi'. I don't think (bar a few exceptions) we purposely hound, we just mock... for our own amusement and with little seriousness. (not that's there's ever really a cohesive 'we' with /talk, that is)

My god, if the internet wasn't utterly full of wobblers, flouncers, paedos, bores, trolls, fatties, racists, mentals, virgins, terrible liars, honda accord drivers, and sweaty-handed shut-ins then it'd just be us spastic shitcunts left, and it would be much poorer because of it. However, taking the piss is a significant proportion of the fun to be had with those above groups.

If so, there seems to be a steady stream of people willing to take their place. On /talk as well as qotw, half of the 'lying autism cunt' shouters with which you can have fun also come from this group. The world does appear to have a lot of swivel eyed loons with internet connections. God bless them I say. They're so excellent to mock.

As for manners and culture? My dear man, I have both in abundance, I merely don't see that b3ta is or should be a place where I must exercise them. Rudeness is our lifeblood after all :)
