It's nothing at all to do with the management descending from their mountain to impose ridiculous measures on the workforce, and not accepting the possibility they might be wrong.
This is why we have a partnership council at work - so the management and the workforce can sit down and actually discuss the likely consequences of planned changes.

There are better ways to support worker's rights than to inconvenience millions of other people who are just trying to do their own jobs. That was my point.
