The B3TA Detective Agency
Universalpsykopath tugs our coat and says: Tell us about your feats of deduction and the little mysteries you've solved. Alternatively, tell us about the simple, everyday things that mystified you for far too long.

What's mystifying me is how hardly anyone seems able to understand this week's question.
For "Tell us about your feats of deduction and the little mysteries you've solved" we get mysteries that aren't solved at all, and for "tell us about the simple, everyday things that mystified you for far too long," we get examples of things, everyday or otherwise, that people just don't get.

Sorry, but I think the
misunderstood question is slightly more interesting than the original question.
I'm glad it's fucked up, I really can't think of anything less interesting that how someone worked out why their cupbaord door was squeaking.

Surely there are some good proper answers,
I guess some people think that any answer is better than none at all, but for the alternative question at least I was expecting something more along the lines of the guy who, until he went to University, thought that burning the toast and scraping the black bits off into the sink was the normal way to make toast.

At the very least, complaining about it gives me reason to exist...

yeah but at least I didn't start a new thread with it...
