With you on thisI have always hated the soulless contrived boy and girl band crap ever since the days of Stock Aitken and Waterman (which is where the rot really started to set in). I haven't heard a song in ages that has made me want to go out and buy an album and i have pretty eclectic tastes. Lately i have found myself attending more live gigs from old bands rather than listening to new stuff.
I do have a theory about music from the last 10 to 15 years that the more skimpily dressed men/women in the video there are the worse the track is.
